Over 200 cops working with Europol and UK police have arrested 81 suspected members of one of the Mediterranean's largest criminal networks seizing 2 million EUR from a panic room and numerous luxury sports cars.
The Spanish authorities assembled a team of experts and sought the cooperation of Europol and the police in the UK, Romania, Sweden, Portugal and Colombia, according to reports.
In cooperation with Europol, Spanish National Police officers dismantled one of Spain's biggest criminal gangs, arresting 81 people and reportedly seizing over 2 million EUR (1.8 million GBP) in cash, as well as 3.2 tonnes of cocaine (7,055 lbs), two sailing boats, a luxury yacht and plush sports cars.
