On June 7, 2018 at about 8:30 PM, an out-of-control BMW Z3 M coupe two-seater sports car smashed into a house and damaged a Mini Cooper parked in the living room in Half Moon Bay, California, USA on Magellan Avenue in the Miramar section and fled. The crash pushed a coffee table into the rear of the parked Mini Cooper, doing extensive damage. The front end of the Mini Cooper was also damaged by the impact.
The BMW was coming from the beach and pedestrians unsuccessfully pursued it onto California Route 1 (Pacific Coast Highway). The house was just built; and the owners were out of town, vacationing in Sweden for the past four months. They used the double French doors to park their car there to safeguard it while away. They were shocked when police and the alarm company contacted them by phone. Police need your help, since they do not have the license plate number. They are looking for a BMW with front end damage.
